Kerone has developed the Integrated Autoclave with Shredder (IAS) Machine, a modern solution to biomedical and hazardous waste management in a safe and efficient way. This is a high-pressure steam sterilization system which is integrated with shredding technology so that there is full deactivation of pathogens and volume diminution in a single automated procedure.
The IAS machine, which is designed to handle industries that deal with infectious waste, applies a high level of vacuum-assisted autoclaving to contact waste materials into their deepest depths, and then the waste is shredded using mechanical force that makes the waste undiscoverable and harmless to any form of final disposal. Its construction is of strong stainless-steel material and controlled by the PLC, which ensures that its usage is minimized to human intervention, environmental effects are minimized and it meets international standards, such as WHO and EPA guidelines.
This is an IAS machine that is best used in hospitals, laboratories, and food processing plants and is designed to maximize space, reduce operational expenses, and enhance sustainability through biohazardous waste to non-infectious product that can be used in landfills or recycled.
