At Kerone, we provide modern day drying equipment with high thermal efficiency and advanced emission handling techniques. We as having over 48 years’ experience in providing several type of drying solution for various applications. Kerone has specialization in providing the Flash dryer also known as pneumatic dryer, which are designed as built to get fitted for specific industrial need.
With over four decades of expertise, Kerone has established itself as a global leader in designing and manufacturing flash dryer tailored to industrial needs. The flash dryer is engineered to provide rapid and efficient drying through innovative heat transfer methods, ensuring precise moisture control and uniform output quality.

Pneumatic / Flash Dryers are direct drying units and are commonly known as convective dryers. In a pneumatic flash drying system, particulate solids to be dried travel through a drying duct along with hot air or gas and get dried during transport in a hot gas stream. The rapid contact between hot air and wet material enables efficient moisture removal within seconds.
The pneumatic flash dryer system consists of the following main components:
The material to be dried is fed into a hot air or gas stream, which flows upward through the drying tube. The gases travel within the stream at a velocity higher than the settling velocity of the largest particles. Flash dryers are usually suitable for the removal of surface or external moisture, as the contact time between the hot air/gas stream and particles is very short.
The dried material and air/gas stream are collected in a separator unit. The separator arrangement helps to separate the dried material from the gas stream. The system must comply with pollution control regulations. For this purpose, cyclone dust separators, fabric filters, electrostatic precipitators, and wet scrubbers are commonly used.
Kerone assists its clients in selecting the best pneumatic dryer to achieve maximum efficiency and reduced drying time. The basic flash dryer design requires careful consideration of:
During the design process, utmost care is taken in engineering the complete drying system. Special attention is given to the gas-heating unit, material feeding section, particle separation section, and product collection system to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
