FLAME PROOF TERMINAL BOXES
Terminal housings are available with Flame Proof Terminal Boxes with the approval of CMRS.
Catalogue Immersion Heaters are also available
with general purpose terminal housing. Different
types of additional housing with or without thermostat
include:
• Moisture Resistant Housing
• Explosion Resistant Housing
• Moisture / Explosion Resistant Housing.
  
Explosion resistant housing terminals are designed to
provide containment of explosion within the enclosure.
The portion of the heater outside the enclosure
is not covered under the rating. The improper
way of using the heater can lead to high temperature
conditions resulting in hazardous condition like
fire. It is advised to not to remove the housing
cover before disconnecting the heater from electrical
power. |
