Nozzle band heaters were designed as an economical mica band heater in nozzle and narrow width size. The intent was to create ready stock to be supplied to the customers without any loss of time and can be made at a reasonable price. They can also be made in various sizes according to the customer's specification and requirement. They have been tested over time thoroughly and have proved to be a very good performer.

safety via high temperature insulated electrical
leads.
• Effective heating up to 800° F provided
by Mica insulation and NiChrome heating elements
with 31 to 46 watt per square inch.

These Heaters are designed primarily as economical mica band heaters in nozzle and narrow width sizes. The idea is to make available from ready stock so that customers get the supply without loss of time and these can be made available at fairly low prices. Other sizes can be made available on request. These heaters have been thoroughly tested over the period of time and have proven to give a good performance.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
• No air gaps should
be present between nozzle and heaters.
• Too loose heaters should never be used.
• The clamping screws need tightening up
after initial heating up period.
• The plastic material on the heater surface
should be removed by increasing the temperature
to the melting point of the material and not by
drying or hammering.
