INSULATION ROPES
for high temperature applications
CERAMIC FIBRE ROPES
It
is one of the simplest and easiest forms of r
movable lagging made up of insulating material.
It is made up of coils in rope form and consists
of formation of ceramic fibres in open mesh with
choice of covers. Greater heat insulation and
temperature give the Ceramic Fibre Ropes an edge
over Glass Fibre Asbestos Fibre Ropes.
They are available in the diameter of 10, 15,
20, 25, 40, 50 and 60 mm and glass braid or stainless
steel braid covers. They are used in expansion
joints, furnace doors, exhaust pipe lagging, insulation
of power house, marine and steam pipes.
Sizes :
Diameters : 10,
15, 20, 25, 40, 50 & 60 mm.
Types of cover :
Glass braid / Stainless steel braid cover.
Typical Applications
: Expansion joints, furnace doors, exhaust
pipe lagging, insulation of power house, marine
and steam pipes.
GLASS FIBRE ROPES
Glass
Fibres are used as an easy solution for insulation
and laggings. They are made in the rope from and
can be used in temperatures up to 400 degree Celsius.
They are heavier as compared to ceramic fibres
and are used in various applications where the
temperature is much less.
They are available in the diameter of 3, 5, 6,
7, 8, 10, 12, 25 and 25 etc. The length of the
standard small size is 50 meters.
Sizes:
Diameter: 3,
5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 20, 25 and more.
Lengths: Standard
small sizes are normally supplied in coils of
50 metres.
ASBESTOS ROPES
Asbestos
Ropes are used for insulation and laggings and
are manufactured in the form of a rope by holding
together asbestos fibres. They can be effectively
used in applications with temperature up to 350
degree Celsius beyond which it starts to crumble.
This is a very old age material which has been
discarded across world due to health hazards.
They are used in manufacturing here due to compulsion.
They are available in soft and hard variation
with diameter ranging from 12.5, 19, 25, 35, 50
and up to 70 mm.
Sizes:
Diameter: 12.5,
19, 25, 35, 50 upto 70 mm
Types available : Soft
and Hard. |
