Tablet Disintegration Test Apparatus is microprocessor based instrument designed to be used by pharmaceutical industry for accurate determination time of tablets and capsules as per IP/BP/USP standards. Such tests are conducted by quality control and R&D departments.
The apparatus consists of two hot plates provided to maintain the temperature of the liquid media (100 ml beaker). Solid state regular heat is provided to control the temperature of the hot plates. Two batches of six tablets each can be tested simultaneously. It provides a constant speed of 30 RPM motor drive with single bar, smooth up and down lifts for two baskets.
The stroke is adjusted as per the specification. The unique loading and unloading mechanism makes it user friendly equipment. Digital pre-set timer 99.59 hr is used to set the integration time as well as to switch off the motor. The non volatile memory of the microprocessor recalls the last operation and completes the test in case of power failure in between the process.
